Bald Eagle Area can finally bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 31-22 victory over the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Bald Eagle Area to victory were Kinsey Clark and Gabbie Perry. Clark went 6 for 11 on her way to 13 points and four steals, while Perry posted eight points and ten boards. Clark is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Bald Eagle Area's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bald Eagle Area will welcome East Juniata at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. East Juniata's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Bald Eagle Area's offense will have their work cut out for them.
