Village Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alanna Neale out in front who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Neale's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Bryanne Lopez-wood was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Village Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Acalanes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.
Village Christian is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Maranatha at 6:00 p.m. on January 2nd. Maranatha is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. Acalanes and St. Mary's will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (St. Mary's is ranked 11th, while Acalanes is ranked 26th).
