Softball Recap: Blair Has No Trouble Against Norris

Blair had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Norris on Saturday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Titans. Considering the Bears have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaitlynn O'Neil was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Laynie Brown was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Blair was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in six consecutive matchups.

Blair's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Norris, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Blair will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
