Tussey Mountain has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tussey Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brianna Gabrielson, who scored ten points along with four steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Gabrielson posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Adyson Weyandt, who scored 13 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Claysburg-Kimmel's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Southern Huntingdon County 71-23. Claysburg-Kimmel has not had much luck with Southern Huntingdon County recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Tussey Mountain's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
