Bodine had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Carver High School of Engineering & Science by a score of 46-43. Bodine has struggled against Carver High School of Engineering & Science recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Savannah Hall, who scored 30 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mikaela Briggs, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Bodine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bodine will face off against Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, they will head out on the road to face off against Sun Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
