North Cobb was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Paulding on Thursday. The Warriors blew past the Wolfpack 8-2. Considering the Warriors have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

North Cobb's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for North Paulding, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolfpack beat North Cobb by a score of 3-2 later that day.
