The Lower Lake Trojans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past St. Helena with points to spare, taking the game 52-33. That looming 52-33 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lower Lake yet this season.
It was another big night for Tiahna Tubbs, who almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lower Lake's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Serenity McCoy, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Lower Lake is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season. As for St. Helena, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Kelseyville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Saints in California (the Knights are ranked 535th, while the Saints are ranked 1114th).
