Rio Vista's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dawson Macklin, who shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Macklin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Filippo Bencetti, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 assists.
Frost bumped their record down to 9-15 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Rio Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.
