Clarkston had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cross Keys Phoenix on Saturday. The Angoras have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phoenix, too.

Gabrielle Moore paced Clarkston's offense, picking up four kills. Moore got some help from Suily Par and her seven assists. Chloe Evanculla controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Clarkston's win bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Cross Keys, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Clarkston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Northview on the 20th. Cross Keys has also already played their next matchup (against Druid Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
