Cornerstone Christian entered their tilt with Crossroads Christian on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Warriors 17-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-0 on April 1st.

Cornerstone Christian got a massive performance out of Steel Hoham, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Hoham has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last four times he's played. Alec O'Sullivan was another key player, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cornerstone Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive games.

Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Crossroads Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian will square off against Elsinore at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Crusaders 1.8, the Tigers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Crossroads Christian, they will take on Norton Science & Language Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
