Baseball Recap: Roseville Takes a Loss

Roseville lost against Yuba City on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Roseville Tigers fell 9-6 to the Yuba City Honkers. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Mason Susnara was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Kyle Pettersen, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Roseville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Yuba City, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Roseville will be playing in front of their home fans against Placer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Yuba City, they will head out to take on Twelve Bridges at 4:00 p.m. on March 24th.
