Caitlin Chamaty made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, Regis Jesuit got the win against Douglas County on Monday by a conclusive 16-6.
Alex Tavlarides made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Regis Jesuit let Jill Samaras and Alexis Colvin run wild. Samaras went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Colvin got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Caitlin Fairchild was another key player, earning two runs and four stolen bases.

Regis Jesuit's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Heritage has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Regis Jesuit, though, as they've been averaging 9.6 hits. Given Heritage's sizable advantage in that area, the Raiders will need to find a way to close that gap.
Heritage took their win against Regis Jesuit in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
