Westmoor is 2-8 against Priory since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Rams will head out to face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Westmoor took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 14-11 win over Jefferson. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Matthew Cote, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Westmoor: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Adolfo Fitoria, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.
Priory came out on top against Jefferson on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Panthers put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 12-1 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight runs or more this season.
Nathan Tuan and Matthew Sun did most of the damage at the plate: Tuan got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs, while Sun went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Sun a new career-high. Jaidee Gerrodette also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Priory hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
The victory got Westmoor back to even at 4-4. As for Priory, their record is now 7-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Westmoor has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Priory struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Westmoor suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Priory in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
