Lick-Wilmerding found their leader in underclassman Lauryn Lacap, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lacap has scored all season. Avery Robins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Lick-Wilmerding's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Convent of the Sacred Heart, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lick-Wilmerding will play host again and welcome Urban, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Urban is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Convent of the Sacred Heart, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Domenico at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. San Domenico will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
