Softball Recap: Forest City Wins Going Away Against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura

While Forest City put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura. The Indians blew past the Cardinals 11-0. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Forest City and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Forest City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-8 defeat against Humboldt on the 19th. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against North Iowa on the 19th.
