Thursday just wasn't the day for Trion's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Rockmart Yellowjackets on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Trion's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Rockmart, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Trion will take on Treutlen at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.8, the Vikings 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Rockmart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
