There's no place like home for the Tracy Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against Livermore on Wednesday as Tracy made off with a 52-28 victory. That looming 52-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Tracy yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Livermore lost, one person who can't be blamed is Angie Bhatia. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points. Bhatia scored a full 50% of Livermore's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylinne Pacheco, who scored six points.
Tracy's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Livermore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.
Tracy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tokay at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th. Tokay has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for Livermore, they will be playing at home against Irvington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Irvington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Livermore in California (Irvington is ranked 269th, while Livermore is ranked 1069th).
