 Meanwhile, Simi Valley had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with  a   7-4  win over the Bears.
  Jackson Goshorn looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched.
 At the plate, Simi Valley got a big performance out of  Danny Pina, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Roan Schmidt, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Camarillo pushed their record up to 17-5 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. As for Simi Valley, their win bumped their record up to 14-9-2.
 Camarillo beat Simi Valley 4-1  in their previous meeting  back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for Camarillo since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
