The Palmyra Panthers were the 43-33 winner over the Weeping Water Indians when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Palmyra fell to the Indians 39-34. It was the first time this season that Palmyra let down their fans at home.
Weeping Water's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brinkley Mcadams, who scored 11 points. Kallie Brack was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Palmyra's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Weeping Water, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmyra will take on the Indians at TBD on Thursday. As for Weeping Water, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders on Monday. Mead comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
