There's no place like home for Piedmont Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Strong Rock Christian Patriots on Saturday as Piedmont Academy made off with an 8-1 win. Considering the Cougars have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Brayden Ross was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. Ross was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
