After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Wesleyan, Walker was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  9-7  win over the McEachern Indians.
 Lily Brevick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and five unearned) runs off   11  hits (and not a single walk). Brevick was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news, Walker let  Reese Dege and  Dylan Koppel run wild. Dege  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Koppel  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and three  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  Koppel has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lucy Arjona, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
The  victory  got Walker back to even at 3-3. As for McEachern,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-5.
 Coming up, Walker will square off against St. Francis at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.2  runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McEachern, they will take on Whitefield Academy at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
