Pacific's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars as the Pacific Pirates made off with a 27-16 win. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Pacific's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacific will head out to face off against Miller at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Pacific has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Palmdale Academy Charter School will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Littlerock at 3:15 p.m. on April 1st.
