The Winters Warriors won the last time they faced the River Valley Falcons, and things went their way on Thursday too. Winters managed a 49-45 victory over River Valley. The win made it back-to-back wins for Winters.
Winters' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Dodic, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Tucker, who scored 11 points.
Winters' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for River Valley, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winters will challenge Woodland Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Christian's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Winters' offense will have their work cut out for Winters. River Valley is on the road again on Friday and play against Wheatland at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th.
