Caney Valley won the last time they faced Woodland and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans blew past the Cougars 10-1. Considering the Trojans have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Anderly Edwards made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double was her first of the season.
