The Butte Valley Bulldogs waltzed into Friday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Tulelake with points to spare, taking the game 54-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Butte Valley also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Tulelake's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makenzie Perez, who scored 7 points along with 21 rebounds and 3 blocks. McKenna Fine was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Butte Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tulelake, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Butte Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Weed at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Weed will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Tulelake will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lost River at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th.
