Warren Township won against Waukegan last Monday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Blue Devils blew past the Bulldogs 16-3. Considering the Blue Devils have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Warren Township's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Waukegan, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren Township will square off against Lake Forest at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Scouts have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Waukegan, they will take on Lake Zurich at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.75 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
