On Thursday, Grace Academy narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Corvian Community 43-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grace Academy.
Despite the loss, Corvian Community still got an impressive performance from Catherine Wheatley, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Sandiford, who scored 10 points.
The victory got Grace Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Corvian Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Grace Academy will take on 1 of 1 Academy Red at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Corvian Community won't have much time to rest: their next game is against United Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully United Faith Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Friday.
