Pine-Richland has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  face off against the Butler Golden Tornado at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Pine-Richland focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 17 on Monday.
 Last Monday, Pine-Richland was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  50-44 to Norwin. While losing is never fun, Pine-Richland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 166th, while Norwin is ranked ninth).
 Pine-Richland might have lost, but man,  Madison Zavasky was a machine:  she  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and ten  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Catherine Gentile, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Butler scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Monday. Everything went their way against Hempfield Area as Butler made off with a  71-51 win. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Butler with their most commanding win of the season.
 Pine-Richland's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-12. As for Butler, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
 Pine-Richland strolled past Butler in their previous meeting  back in January by a score of  50-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine-Richland since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
