With a playoff win on the line, Providence Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Lovett Lions. The Storm might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Providence Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 16-13. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Lovett, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Coming up, Providence Christian Academy will take on Holy Innocents Episcopal at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lovett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
