St. Bonaventure's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Cate by a score of 5-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win continues a trend for the Seraphs in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won four in a row.
Seamus Sipe was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lukas Devericks was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Rowen Kaiser was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
St. Bonaventure always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cate only posted an OBP of .182.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chaminade, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Granada Hills Charter on Wednesday, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since February 20th.
St. Bonaventure's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Chaminade, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
