Montgomery County was the 5-4 winner over Hawkinsville when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 8-3 to the Red Devils on Thursday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Montgomery County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Reaves, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Montgomery County's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Hawkinsville, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-8.
