There's no place like home for the Blair County Christian Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 57-27 win over Centre County Christian Academy at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Blair County Christian's 24-point performance the match before.
Leading Blair County Christian to victory were Lydia Hileman and Gabi Dull. Hileman dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 blocks, while Dull scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Dull has scored at least 25% of Blair County Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calee Kennedy, who scored 7 points along with 4 steals.
The win got Blair County Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Centre County Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blair County Christian will take on Calvary Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Centre County Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Johnstown Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
