The Sage Creek Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Pacific Ridge on Friday as Sage Creek made off with a 58-34 win. Sage Creek's victory was all the more impressive since Pacific Ridge was averaging only 29.78 points allowed on the season.
Sage Creek found their leader in underclassman Josie Biehl, who scored 15 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. Gia Kiesling was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and eight steals.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Sage Creek, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Pacific Ridge, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
Sage Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Mission Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission Vista comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Pacific Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop Diego at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th. Bishop Diego is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
