The Burroughs Bears put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wiseburn- Da Vinci 55-22 on the road. With Burroughs ahead 37-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Mariam Fahs was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Burroughs' points. Jessica Mena was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 4 steals.
Burroughs pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Burroughs' road trip will continue as they head out to face Agoura at 7:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they will square off against Rancho Cucamonga at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
