After a string of seven wins, Montrose's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Early Panthers, falling 17-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Jays have suffered since August 30th.

Montrose saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Wraight, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Montrose's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Early, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montrose will square off against Dadeville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Early, they will take on Walnut Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
