Westover kicked off their season on the road  on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took  a  10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westwood Wildcats. Sadly, the  loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.
  Sydney Donaldson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases and two  runs.
The  victory  got Westwood back to even at 1-1.
 Coming up, Westover will head out on the road to  take on  Crisp Academy  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Westwood, they will challenge Deerfield-Windsor at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
