The Hamilton Braves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Maxwell at home to the tune of 58-20. Hamilton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamilton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sheri Enneking, who scored 11 points along with two steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Hanne Porter, who scored 15 points.
Despite the loss, Maxwell still got an impressive performance from Emma Hendrix, who almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 13 rebounds, and nine steals. That was a full 55% of Maxwell's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Bailee Haywood, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Maxwell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Hamilton pushed their record up to 10-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.33 points. As for Maxwell, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Hamilton will head out on the road to face off against Biggs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Biggs will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Maxwell, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against CORE Butte at 5:30 p.m.
