After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sacramento Adventist, the Golden Sierra Grizzlies were happy to have found some success on Friday. They really took it to Highlands for the full four quarters, racking up a 43-14 win on the road. With Golden Sierra ahead 22-2 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Zofia Bradford, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracey Nordby, who scored 9 points.
The victory got Golden Sierra back to even at 1-1. As for Highlands, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden Sierra is on the road again on Saturday and play against John Adams Academy at 12:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Highlands, they will take on Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
