Zanger really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run. Charlie Lyon was another key player, throwing for 218 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt.
Leigh was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 251 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leland only rushed for 112 rushing yards.
Looking ahead, Leigh will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Alisal at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Leland, they are taking a road trip to take on Pioneer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
