It was another big night for Katie Busch, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds for Tri-City Christian. That makes it three consecutive games in which Busch has scored at least a third of Tri-City Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Desiree Mercado, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Orange Glen has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Tri-City Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7.
