The Bravo Knights will venture away from home to take on the Marshall Barristers at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bravo will be strutting in after a victory while Marshall will be coming in after a loss.
Bravo is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Jordan a 17-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Knights with their most commanding win of the season.

Anthony Gonzalez and Diego Rodriguez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Gonzalez tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Rodriguez pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Bravo: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 3-8 otherwise. At bat, Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs Rodriguez has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other pitching news, Anthony Chavez looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Joshua Torres and Alfredo Orendian did most of the damage at the plate: Torres went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Orendian went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Bravo is undefeated when Torres posts two or more runs, but 2-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnathon Montalvo, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Bravo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Marshall came up short against San Fernando on Tuesday, falling 10-4.
Marshall has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Bravo, their record now sits at 5-9.
Bravo might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Marshall in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
