Liberty Ranch has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season. They beat Dixon on Friday by the very same score they won with last week: 56-35. Given Liberty Ranch's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Dixon is ranked 869th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Summer Mccoy was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madisyn Robbins, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Amador came up short against Faith Christian on Saturday and fell 51-38. Amador has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Their wins bumped Liberty Ranch to 7-1 and Dixon to 3-6.
