Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granite Bay). They breezed by the Nevada Union Miners to the tune of 66-31 on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Nevada Union still got an impressive performance from Ava Ban, who went 6 for 15 en route to 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Ban is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played.

Granite Bay's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for Nevada Union, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Granite Bay will host Whitney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite Bay is facing Whitney at the right time seeing as Whitney is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Nevada Union, they are taking a road trip to take on Yuba City at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
