The home team had won the previous four meetings between Red River and Fargo North, and Red River kept the tradition alive. The Roughriders skirted past the Spartans 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-3 victory back in April.

Red River saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Dosch, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Red River's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Fargo North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Red River nor Fargo North have any future games scheduled.
