Leading Los Fresnos to victory were Jj Salazar and Gio Galvan. Salazar scored 24 points along with six assists, while Galvan dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists. Galvan hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Dylan Cervantes, who scored eight points.
When it comes to explaining why Hanna lost, one person who can't be blamed is Beto Galarza. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with three steals. Rolando Roman was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Los Fresnos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Hanna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-10.
Los Fresnos will be playing at home against San Benito at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hanna, they will head out on the road to face off against Weslaco at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Weslaco is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
