The North Rangers had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 42-29 win over Orange on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as North also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2019.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samantha Cantrell, who scored eight points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cami Welty, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
North's win ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
North's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Mayfield will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Orange will take on the Mayhem at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fuchs Mizrachi is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
