Mayfair has gone a perfect 10-0 against Dominguez recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Monsoons will face off against the Dons at 3:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Mayfair lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Paramount, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Monsoons were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Pirates on Friday. The Monsoons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Spencer Cummins made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mathew Anaya, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Aidan Sullivan was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Mayfair was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dominguez). They blew past Centennial 20-9 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Dons as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Angel Lopez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Lopez was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Ryan Flores was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jacob Potts, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Mayfair's record is now 17-6. As for Dominguez, their record now sits at 6-15.
Mayfair got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Dominguez by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Monsoons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
