University Pathways Medical Magnet were dealt a 61-21 defeat at the hands of the San Pedro Pirates. The contest marked University Pathways Medical Magnet's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

University Pathways Medical Magnet's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Gianna Benitez, who posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and four steals, and Camila Alcaraz, who had four points along with 11 boards and three blocks. Alcaraz has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

San Pedro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Adrid led the charge by putting up 14 points. Adrid continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Azul Cortes was another key player, posting 12 points.

University Pathways Medical Magnet is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for San Pedro, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
