Washington is 7-0 against the Bulldogs since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Washington Prexies will head out on the road to challenge the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Washington entered their tilt with the Mighty Mikes with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Washington came out on top against the Mighty Mikes by a score of 32-23 on Thursday.
Washington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaprice Johnson, who scored nine points along with six steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Teyler Barnes, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem Center had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 46-38 win over Avella.
Washington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Bethlehem Center, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Washington strolled past the Bulldogs in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 45-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Washington since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
