The Spring-Ford Rams waltzed into their match Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They really took it to Owen J. Roberts for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-19 win on the road. With Spring-Ford ahead 29-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Anna Azzara continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The game was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Tiffan, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Spring-Ford's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Owen J. Roberts, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Spring-Ford is on the road again on Thursday and play against Phoenixville at 6:45 p.m. on December 21st. Phoenixville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 207th, while Spring-Ford is ranked 21st). Owen J. Roberts will be home for the holidays to greet Pottstown at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
